Each year, HOPE staff and hundreds of volunteers host the Back to School Bash for registered clients with the help of local businesses and churches who sponsor the event and host donation boxes. At the Back to School Bash, children are given everything they need to start their first day of school. During this event, children receive backpacks, pencils, pens, glue, notebooks, paper, socks, underwear, jeans, and more. In addition to these items, clients get to enjoy a day of fun with games for the kids, lunch for the whole family, balloon animals, face painting, and access to additional resources. To pull off this event, we need hundreds of volunteers. We need help with setup, entertainment, shepherding clients through the event, tear-down, cleanup, and more! Each year this is a wonderful event for our local children because our community cares and gives back.
