Many of our clients never expect to need our services, but life happens. That’s why we’re here. And that’s why your support is critical. Thanks to the incredible generosity of The Father’s Table, The Hartford, Lukas Nursery & Butterfly Encounter, and Carl Black Charities, your gift to HOPE’s Annual Summer Match will be doubled! Together, they’ve pledged $50,000 to help us raise a record-breaking $100,000 to fund vital programs that support individuals and families experiencing a crisis.
Your donation could help a family like Tom’s become self-sufficient. Tom, his wife Marie, and their two children Liam and Emily had just relocated to Seminole County when a moving company’s price gouging wiped out all he had saved for the move. Suddenly, he found himself in unfamiliar territory and in need of help. Defeated and unsure of how to get back on his feet, Tom turned to HOPE Helps. Living on a fixed income due to several disabilities, he needed assistance just to pay rent. But with the support of HOPE’s dedicated staff and the generosity of our community, Tom’s story began to change.
Tom was enrolled in our Financial Literacy program, received rental assistance and one-on-one financial counseling, and began regularly visiting our food pantry and participating in our outreach events. With time, his family began to rebuild. Today, Tom lives in a better home where he feels more comfortable raising his children. Tom shared:
“HOPE has helped me immensely. I am able to live a better life. My finances were going downhill and HOPE helped get me back on the right path.”
Thank you for your commitment to nurturing resilience, stability, and growth for your neighbors in need.
Because of you, hope is growing in every corner of our community this summer.
