In the midst of last year’s economic strains, Jack’s story stood out. Living with Post-Polio Syndrome and reliant on a limited social security disability income, Jack faced not just financial hardship but the isolation that often accompanies severe health conditions. HOPE Helps intervened through our HENS program, offering Jack not only essential supplies like food and hygiene products but a connection to the outside world. A dedicated volunteer transformed these deliveries into opportunities for companionship, embodying our mission to support and uplift those in need.
