Bahamian Relief Efforts

Bahamian Relief Efforts

HOPE has been contacted by individuals and groups who are looking for ways to help families in the Bahamas. Fortunately, HOPE’s clients, offices, and our families were spared by the devastation endured by the Bahamian people. Although HOPE is always in need of food for our clients throughout the year, at this time we would like to direct you to Harvest Time International who is accepting donations and working to distribute to those in need during this tragedy.

Please read the message below from Pastor John Murphy, President and Founder of Harvest Time International, on ways to get engaged:

“Dear Friends,

We were blessed to have escaped the path of Dorian, and for that, we are truly thankful to God.  Our neighbors in the Bahama’s need our help, they were not so fortunate as we, and have suffered much loss.

We are responding by engaging our community and corporate partners to give product donations and financial donations toward relief efforts.
We have joined with our longtime partner, Food for the Poor, who is coordinating relief efforts in the Bahamas in conjunction with their recipient organizations and local government officials.
