MARKETING COORDINATOR
HOPE Helps, a local non-profit with a mission to prevent homelessness and keep families in their homes, is looking for talented, detail-oriented, creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, self-motivated, committed to the organization’s core purpose and values, while consistently functioning as a highly dedicated team player. Position is part-time, 20-hours per week, with occasional weekend availability for scheduled events. Required: Marketing Experience or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Understanding HOPE’s Mission, Values, Vision and Structure.
- Create and assist with departmental social media content (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) such as stories, reels and posts to expand brand recognition and revenue for The HOPE Chest Thrift Store/Boutique, Resource Center, Pantry and overall Mission of the organization.
- Consistently inventory and stock HOPE’s Marketing Kit to use at Outreach / Resource tabling events (ex: Car Show, Taste of Oviedo, Interfaith presentations, Call to Service, etc.)
- Create graphics and print materials, as assigned. Backup to Marketing Manager.
- Edit and proof materials including brand specific items (t-shirts), communication collateral (flyers / signage), etc.
- Assist in maintaining contact database lists relevant to marketing and media.
- Assist as staff photographer for events, Donation Drop-offs / Food Drives, Volunteer Groups (Takeover Days), etc. Organize photo files, folders and archive (Google Drive, External Drive, Flickr).
- Maintain inventory of in-house merchandise (ex: business cards, brochures, tablecloths, promo items, etc.) at all locations. Pick up marketing material orders and products, as needed.
- Maintain and update current Marketing Materials/Packets and HOPE Portfolios.
- Collaborate on marketing tasks within the department using communication calendars.
- Participates in bi-weekly marketing sessions/meetings (brainstorming, strategy).
- Participates in signature events, as required.
- Represent HOPE for presentations, tours and community outreach, as assigned.
- Other Administrative Marketing duties/tasks, as assigned.
